The iQOO Neo11 Ultra and iQOO Z11S have officially launched in China, bringing together high capacity batteries, fast AMOLED displays and MediaTek hardware at very different price points. The Neo11 Ultra is positioned as the more powerful option, while the Z11S focuses on battery life and affordability.
Both smartphones arrive with IP68 and IP69 protection, making them better equipped to handle dust and water exposure than many phones in their respective segments. They also run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.
iQOO Neo11 Ultra brings serious flagship hardware
The Neo11 Ultra is clearly the star of the launch. It uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Monster chipset, paired with iQOO’s Q2 gaming chip for additional performance focused on gaming. Buyers can configure the phone with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
That combination gives the Neo11 Ultra the kind of hardware aimed at demanding users who want plenty of headroom for gaming, multitasking and long term use. The faster storage should also help with app loading and large file transfers, while the additional gaming chip is designed to give the phone an edge when running demanding titles.
The battery is another major highlight. The Neo11 Ultra packs a huge 9,100mAh silicon carbon battery, which is considerably larger than what you normally find in a high performance smartphone. It supports 100W wired charging, giving the phone a much faster way to replenish that large battery.
The display is equally ambitious. It has a 6.83 inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and a sharp 3,200 by 1,440 pixel resolution. An optical fingerprint scanner is built into the display.
For photography, the Neo11 Ultra gets a 50MP main camera using the Sony LYT700V sensor, along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Z11S puts battery life first
The Z11S takes a different approach. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is not designed to compete directly with the Neo11 Ultra for raw performance, but it still offers a solid hardware package for everyday use.
Its biggest selling point could be the enormous 10,000mAh battery. That is an eye catching capacity even by the standards of today’s increasingly large smartphone batteries. Charging is limited to 44W, which is considerably slower than the Neo11 Ultra, but the bigger battery gives the Z11S a clear focus on endurance.
The Z11S also has a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its resolution is lower at 2,800 by 1,260 pixels, but it should still provide a sharp image for gaming, streaming and everyday scrolling.
Camera hardware is more modest. There is a single 50MP rear camera, using a smaller sensor than the Neo11 Ultra, while the front camera has an 8MP resolution. Like its more expensive sibling, the Z11S includes an optical in display fingerprint scanner.
Pricing separates the two phones
The price difference between the two models is substantial. The iQOO Z11S starts at CNY 1,799, which works out to around $267 based on the conversion quoted at launch. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version sits at the entry point, while the 12GB and 512GB model costs CNY 2,699.
The Neo11 Ultra starts at CNY 3,399 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The range goes up to CNY 4,399 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB model.
That means the two phones are targeting very different buyers. The Z11S is about getting a large screen, huge battery and modern software without spending flagship money. The Neo11 Ultra, meanwhile, is built for users who want much stronger performance, faster storage, better cameras and quicker charging.
Both models are already available in China through the official vivo online store. There is no confirmed international availability mentioned in the launch information, so buyers outside China will have to wait for details about whether either phone will be introduced in other markets.
