These include a limited edition liquid filled vinyl, a splatter edition vinyl and a CD jewel case edition.

The liquid filled record is among the more unusual formats announced so far, while the splatter edition offers another collectible option for fans interested in physical music releases.

Additional vinyl editions will feature exclusive disc colours and artwork. These versions will be available through a selection of retailers, including Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent record shops.

Music will play a major role in GTA 6’s world

The album announcement is only part of Rockstar’s broader plans for music in Grand Theft Auto VI.

The developer has confirmed that further details about the game’s dynamic score and its in game radio experience will be shared at a later date.

Music has been a defining feature of the Grand Theft Auto series for decades, helping establish the atmosphere of its fictional cities and shaping the experience of driving through the open world.

The radio stations in previous games have featured a mixture of licensed songs, fictional presenters, comedy segments and genre specific playlists. These stations have become a recognisable part of the series, offering players a soundtrack that changes as they explore.

For GTA 6, Rockstar has indicated that the radio experience will evolve further. However, the company has not yet provided a detailed breakdown of how the system will work or explained what changes players can expect.

The mention of a dynamic score also leaves questions about how music might respond to gameplay, locations and story events. Rockstar has not confirmed the specific mechanics behind the score, so further details will be needed before its full scope becomes clear.

GTA 6 album release date and what happens next

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026, alongside the game.

The six singles are available now on major music streaming platforms, while digital pre saves and physical pre orders have opened.

Rockstar has not yet announced the full tracklist, the complete list of artists or further details about the game’s radio stations and score. Those announcements are expected to provide a clearer picture of how music will shape the experience in Vice City and Leonida.

For now, the first six songs offer an early introduction to the soundtrack’s musical range, while the physical editions give collectors several options to consider before launch.

With 34 original tracks planned, there is still a substantial part of the album left to reveal.
