If you have made it through the chaos of the first five episodes, there is not much longer to wait for the next instalment of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe.
Episode 6 is scheduled to arrive on HBO Max in the United States on Thursday, August 27, at 6pm PT and 9pm ET. That means viewers on the US West Coast can start watching in the early evening, while those on the East Coast will get the episode later that night.
For viewers outside the US, the episode becomes available on Friday, August 28, because of the time difference. In India, episode 6 will be available at 6:30am IST on Friday, August 28.
So, if you are watching from India, there is no need to stay up late on Thursday night. Episode 6 should be ready to watch first thing Friday morning.
What happens in episode 6?
The new episode follows the fallout from the events of episode 5, which left Stuart and the gang moving on from their previous surroundings and heading into another strange situation.
This time, the setting feels a little more familiar. The group finds itself back in a suburban environment, but the normality does not last for long. One of the episode’s central ideas involves people eating plants and grass in a way that turns an ordinary neighbourhood into another bizarre stop on Stuart’s increasingly ridiculous journey.
That is very much in keeping with the show’s approach so far. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe takes the familiar world associated with The Big Bang Theory and pushes it into much stranger territory. The result is a spin off that is less interested in recreating the original sitcom and more interested in seeing just how far its characters and universe can be taken.
Episode 6 looks set to continue that approach, with Stuart once again dealing with situations that seem increasingly difficult to control.
When are the other episodes coming out?
HBO Max is releasing the season on a weekly schedule, giving viewers a new episode each Thursday in the US and Friday in many international markets.

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe episode 6 release time around the world
The release date can be slightly confusing because HBO Max is launching the episode at the same moment internationally, rather than at midnight in every country.
For US viewers, the key times are 6pm PT and 9pm ET on Thursday, August 27.
Canadian viewers will also get the episode at the corresponding 6pm PT and 9pm ET times on August 27.
In the UK, that works out to 2am BST on Friday, August 28.
