According to a new report out of South Korea, the company is preparing to unveil its first XR headset at an Unpacked event on September 29, 2025. If the leak is correct, the device, currently known as Project Moohan, will officially go on sale in South Korea on October 13.

This would mark Samsung’s long-awaited return to immersive headsets after years of focusing on its smartphones, foldables, and wearables. Unlike earlier experiments like the Gear VR, Project Moohan is being developed in close partnership with Google and Qualcomm, signaling a more serious attempt to compete in the fast-growing XR space.
