  • The TexHoo ZHR mini PC features AMD Ryzen 7 6800H or Ryzen 5 6600U processors.
  • It supports up to four 8K monitors and two NVMe SSDs with up to 8TB storage.
  • A built-in LCD screen shows live system data and adds a premium feel.
  • Despite powerful specs, its unknown brand raises trust concerns.

A new name has entered the mini PC arena, and it is already turning heads. TexHoo’s latest device, the ZHR Mini PC, combines AMD Ryzen power with workstation-level specs in a small, stylish box. It even adds an LCD screen for live performance monitoring, something rarely seen in compact desktops.

Yet the question many potential buyers are asking is simple: Can an unknown brand like TexHoo really compete with industry giants?

Ryzen Muscle in a Tiny Machine

The TexHoo ZHR mini PC is available in two versions, each powered by AMD Ryzen processors. The higher-end model uses the eight-core Ryzen 7 6800H chip, while the second model runs on the six-core Ryzen 5 6600U. Both CPUs are based on AMD’s Zen 3 Plus architecture and feature Radeon 680M or 660M graphics using RDNA2 technology.

These specifications make the TexHoo ZHR surprisingly powerful for its size. Users can expect smooth 4K playback, solid productivity performance, and even some light gaming. The Ryzen 7 6800H model, in particular, aims to deliver workstation-like performance without the need for a bulky desktop tower.

For creators, remote workers, or anyone who needs performance on the go, this mini PC looks capable of handling demanding workloads with ease.

Design and Display That Stand Out

The ZHR Mini PC is designed with simplicity and function in mind. Its small chassis keeps things minimalist, while a dual-fan cooling system helps manage heat efficiently.

What makes this device unique, however, is the small LCD display built into the top panel. The screen can show real-time system information like temperature, CPU load, or network activity. It can also be customized for different readouts, adding both a practical and aesthetic touch.

While some may view the LCD as a gimmick, others will appreciate the instant visual feedback it provides. It is an unusual feature in this price range and could attract users who enjoy keeping an eye on system performance.

Serious Storage and Connectivity Options

TexHoo has not held back on connectivity or storage flexibility. The ZHR Mini PC supports two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs, offering up to 8TB of total capacity. This means users can easily install fast drives for both system and data storage.

In addition, the mini PC comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400MHz. That’s enough speed and memory bandwidth to keep multitasking smooth and responsive.

Connectivity is another highlight. The ZHR includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, several USB-A and USB-C ports, and support for up to four 8K displays.

Video outputs include two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and one USB-C port. Few compact PCs can drive four 8K monitors simultaneously, putting the TexHoo ZHR in elite company when it comes to display flexibility.

Performance Meets Affordability

Despite its high-end specs, the TexHoo ZHR mini PC starts at around €277, or roughly $323. The entry-level version includes the LCD display but ships without internal storage, allowing users to choose their own SSDs.

The company is currently offering a discount code (ESCD20) through AliExpress, which may make the device even more appealing for early adopters.

At this price, the ZHR offers a lot of hardware for the money. Its combination of AMD power, fast memory, and strong connectivity options is impressive, especially considering the compact design.

A Promising Device From an Unfamiliar Brand

The biggest question surrounding the TexHoo ZHR is not its hardware, but its brand reliability. TexHoo is a new name in the PC market, and with that comes uncertainty.

Potential buyers may wonder about long-term software support, firmware updates, and build quality. Established competitors like Geekom, Minisforum, and Beelink have earned trust over years of product releases, while TexHoo still needs to prove itself.

Even so, the ZHR’s early impressions suggest a product built with ambition and a desire to stand out. If the company can back its specs with reliable performance and support, it could become a new favorite in the growing mini PC market.
